Centaur was a Greenville, North Carolina based rock band started in October 1981 by brothers Chuck Hollingsworth (drums) and Bill Hollingsworth (bass/vocals) along with friend Jay Wood (guitar/vocals). Thank you Sharon and Chuck for bringing this awesome archive of rock and roll memories to the web. I was there at almost the beginning, and spent many, many loud nights at the shack with Chuck, Bill and Jay. I consider them all a great, dear friends who I miss and would love to reconnect with. I appreciate the mention in the blog. Though my part was small in the Centaur legacy, their influence on me was deep and profound. I will always remember and love Chuck, Bill and Jay, and words do not adequately express my admiration for them.
